Day Respite Care Unit

We appreciate that there are times when everyone needs a change of scenery. You may want to spend a day experiencing our state of the art facilities.

You may wish to have a holiday where your every need is met.

We are able to offer care for whatever period suits you. A day (or part of a day!) or a night in the unit to experience our facilities or a week or two’s holiday we are happy to accommodate you.

Re-enablement/Rehabilitation

In addition from time to time you may need some support to regain your independence or an ability which has deteriorated. Our qualified healthcare team can work with you to achieve your goal either on a day or short term stay basis

Bath/Shower

We can arrange for you to come to Applegarth and have a bath or shower using our specialized bath/shower facilities and if necessary transfer equipment. We can provide care staff or you can be accompanied by someone of your choice
